About

Sanjeev Kumar is a seasoned petroleum industry professional with over 35 years of experience spanning fuel retailing, LPG, industrial and commercial fuels, and aviation fuel. He currently serves as Business Unit Head – Aviation at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), where he focuses on aviation fuel operations and sustainable aviation initiatives, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in alignment with the global CORSIA framework and India’s evolving aviation sector.

Throughout his career, Sanjeev has held several senior leadership positions across marketing, retail, operations, and business development. He has led large-scale retail expansion and automation initiatives, including the development of 500+ petrol pumps in Karnataka, while also driving EV charging corridors, ethanol blending programs, and other green energy initiatives.

His expertise spans strategic leadership, business and data analysis, operational excellence, energy transition, automation, and sustainable energy solutions, with a strong focus on innovation and the future of India’s energy and aviation sectors.
