Gregory Shahnovsky is the President & CEO of Modcon Systems Ltd., bringing a rare combination of deep petrochemical engineering expertise and strategic business leadership. He completed his graduate and postgraduate studies at the Azerbaijan Institute of Petrochemistry, specializing in Petrochemical Process Automation, and later earned a degree in High-Technology Enterprise Management from the University of Haifa. Gregory’s academic foundation and leadership experience position him at the intersection of process automation, advanced analytics, and industrial AI adoption across the energy sector.
With extensive hands-on experience in analytical chemistry, process optimization, multivariable modeling, and real-time control system design, Gregory focuses on uniting advanced process analyzers with AI-driven optimization. His work enables safer, more efficient, and more sustainable operations across the oil, gas, and hydrogen industries, helping operators move from theoretical AI models to measured, validated, and operationally trusted intelligence.
