About the Session

Gregory Shahnovsky, President & CEO of Modcon Systems Ltd., has extensive experience in process analysis, analytical chemistry, process optimisation, multivariable modelling, and real-time control systems. He holds graduate and postgraduate qualifications in Petrochemical Process Automation from the Azerbaijan Institute of Petrochemistry and has also studied High-Technology Enterprise Management at the University of Haifa. His work focuses on integrating advanced process analysers with Industrial AI and digital technologies to improve operational performance across refining, petrochemical, natural gas, and hydrogen industries.

In his session, “Reconnecting AI to Reality: How Process Analysers Enable the Intelligent, Flexible and Low-Carbon Refinery,” Gregory explores how real-time process analyser data can strengthen AI-driven refinery optimisation.
