Dheerajkumar R Narang's presentation will address the challenges associated with the current manual methods of Process Safety Management (PSM) for both regulatory bodies and process plants. He will delve into the modernization efforts of safety regulations by federal entities such as OSHA and EPA in the U.S., highlighting their role in enhancing PSM compliance. The presentation will feature a detailed study comparing OSHA’s 1992 regulatory impact analysis with the 2023 information collection requirements, aiming to estimate the economic burden on existing and future PSM-covered facilities. Additionally, Dheerajkumar will introduce an innovative e-governance solution designed to overcome efficiency and effectiveness issues, with the ultimate goal of streamlining PSM implementation and comprehensive regulatory compliance across the United States.
