Dipak Patki is a seasoned Principal Automation Engineer with over 28 years of experience driving innovation and operational excellence in the oil and energy industry. His extensive background spans engineering design, construction, commissioning, and start-up operations, making him a trusted expert in large-scale automation and process optimization initiatives.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dipak has contributed to several landmark projects, including the Albian Oil Sands Expansion 1, Quest CO₂ Capture Project, and Scotford Refinery Debottlenecking, among others. Currently, he supports well pad and facilities delivery while also providing expertise to Shell’s Lubricant and Trading businesses. His commitment to leveraging advanced automation, digital technologies, and integrated control systems continues to drive efficiency, safety, and sustainability across global energy operations.
