Dr. Subrata Bhowmik is a British citizen with over 23 years of experience across the EU, UK, and now Qatar, specializing in digital transformation, system design optimization, and digital twin development for the oilfield, subsea, and energy industries. Since 2003, he has led multiple innovative projects driving efficiency, reliability, and data-driven decision-making in complex operational environments.

As a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Manager, Dr. Bhowmik has extensive expertise in upstream asset management, risk analytics, and operational data analytics. He has served as a technical team leader on operational modal analysis (true digital twin) and predictive maintenance initiatives using machine learning for offshore infrastructure projects with major UK oil & gas operators. Proficient in MATLAB, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI, he has published and presented over 50 research papers at leading global conferences and journals. He is an elected Fellow of both the IMarEST and CMI, recognized for his contributions to advancing digital innovation and engineering excellence in the energy sector.
